Private security will be provided Saturday night to Sunday morning.

Exhibitors must supply their own set-up (tent, tables, chairs, etc.) Tables, tents and chairs are NOT available for rental at the event.

Set up begins at 6am on Saturday.

Takedown must be complete by 6pm Sunday. Any crafter merchandise or exhibit supplies remaining in Fishel Park after takedown will be considered litter and will be disposed of.

Artist must remain setup until 4pm Sunday or until notified by committee members that early takedown is allowed in the case of severe weather conditions.

All work is to contain a significant quantity of your own handwork to be considered an artisan craft and NOT produced by another source for resale. Committee will be present at setup to review the quality of work displayed compared to photographs submitted. Those violating policy or displaying substandard work will be asked to leave with no refund granted.

Previous show participation does not guarantee acceptance. Crafts are judged only on photographs provided.

Complete the application and submit:

· A check for the event fee of $125 per 10’ x 10’ booth space. Your check will be returned if not selected to exhibit at craft show.

· Artists wishing to purchase additional 10’ x 10’ booths to display their work may do so for $100 per booth.

· A self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope for return notification.

Application deadline is April 30, 2012. Applications that do not include the above or that are received after the deadline may not be considered. You will be notified of your acceptance during the month of May.

WAIVER: In consideration of my being able to exhibit and sell my crafts in the DGJWC Rotary Grove Fest Craft Show and in consideration of security provided, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, I hereby waive any claim or action for damages or theft including, but not limited to, those based on negligence, against the Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club, the Downers Grove Rotary Club, or their security firm arising from injury to my person or theft or damages to my crafts.

LIABILITY: In consideration of the acceptance of the right to participate, the undersigned entrant by execution of this entry form, releases and discharges the DGJWC Rotary Grove Fest Craft Show, the Downers Grove Rotary Club, the Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club, Downers Grove Park District, the Village of Downers Grove their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives and servants and anyone else connected with management or presentation of the Rotary Grove Fest of and from any and all known or unknown damages, injuries, losses, judgments and/or claims from any cause whatsoever that may be suffered by an entrant to his person or property. Further, each entrant expressly agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the DGJWC Rotary Grove Fest Craft Show, the Downers Grove Rotary Club, the Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club, Downers Grove Park District, the Village of Downers Grove their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives of and from any and all liability occasioned by or resulting from the conduct of entrants or any participant assisting or cooperating with the undersigned entrant under the direction or control of the undersigned entrant. The entrant agrees that participation in any contest, games or activities may be limited to exhibits which have been preregistered or have met registration requirements.

CERTIFICATION: I hereby certify that the items I will display at the Rotary Grove Fest Craft Show contain a significant quantity of my own handwork so as to be considered an artisan craft and not produced by another vendor and purchased for resale. A violation of this certification is term for dismissal from the DGJWC Rotary Grove Fest Craft Show. Fees will NOT be refunded.
